Directions: to check if an analog telephone line has interference or a listening device, remove the cover from the telephone wall jack. Then attach each alligator clip to the incoming line. Green bulb wires are included. Bulb lights up if the line is clear. If a red bulb lights up, then possible listening device is evidenced on the incoming line. It is advised that one speak cautiously when using the line being checked. All wires necessary to check an analog telephone line are included. This was a state of the art telephone analyzer in 1983.
