Refund & Returns Policy

At Captain Benny Cargo we want you to be happy with every treasure you bring home. Because we deal in vintage collectibles and antiques, please read this policy carefully before purchasing.

Overview

You may request a return within 14 days of receiving your order. To be eligible, the item must be unused and in the same condition in which you received it, and returned in its original packaging where applicable.

Vintage & antique items

Our items are pre-owned, one-of-a-kind, and sold in the condition described in each listing. Photographs and descriptions are part of the listing, so please review them carefully. Natural signs of age and wear that are consistent with a vintage item are not considered defects.

How to start a return

To start a return, email us at captain@captainbennycargo.com with your order number and the reason for the return. We will reply with instructions. Please do not send items back before contacting us.

Damaged or not as described

If your item arrives damaged, or is materially not as described, please contact us within 7 days of delivery with photos of the item and packaging. In these cases we will cover the cost of return shipping and offer a replacement (if available) or a full refund.

Return shipping

Unless the item arrived damaged or was not as described, you are responsible for the cost of return shipping. We recommend using a trackable shipping service, as we cannot guarantee that we will receive your returned item. Items should be packed carefully to avoid damage in transit.

Refunds

Once we receive and inspect your return, we will notify you of the outcome. If approved, your refund will be issued to your original payment method (via PayPal) within 5–10 business days. Depending on your bank or card issuer, it may take additional time for the refund to appear.

Original shipping charges are non-refundable, except where the item arrived damaged or not as described.

Exchanges

Because most of our items are unique, we generally cannot offer a direct exchange. If you would like a different item, we will refund the returned item (once approved) and you are welcome to place a new order.
