Vintage item from OMC (Otagiri Mercantile Company), a Japanese trading company known for importing porcelain and ceramic items into the United States. Otagiri was active from approximately 1954 until it was sold to the Enesco Corporation in 1994. They imported a wide variety of goods, including ashtrays, figurines, and mugs, often featuring floral designs or gold luster finishes. The gold and silver foil sticker indicates the item was made in Japan and is commonly found on the base of these vintage collectibles.
